Once diversification was the strength of America but it seems that times have changed!  Why is that?

At the present rate; they type of diversification that is happening will soon destroy America!

It seems strange to remember that people used to immigrate in a legal fashion to come to America.  The people were eager to fit in, to become Americanized.  Parents were proud that their children learned the English language.

I remember the older people bragging that their kids could speak the language and they were proud that they were able to get an education.  Do new immigrates still go to night school to learn English?  I think not!

Theodore Roosevelt had several quotes regarding America and immigration and the country:
“There can be no fifty-fifty Americanism in this country. There is room here for only 100% Americanism, only for those who are Americans and nothing else.”
“The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life.”

Below you will find Theodore Roosevelt's ideas on immigrants and being an AMERICAN in 1907.

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."   Theodore Roosevelt 1907

Today we see people that are offended by things that Americans have celebrated and held dear for as long as I can remember and yet, today, many are being changed because our old festivities offend some of the new immigrants.  My personal feeling is that if you do not like what we have here and what we celebrated go back to your land.  You failed to stand up and fight for your land; so why come to America and try to change this land.  People tend to slink around and take advantage of our liberal laws, clogging our legal systems to take us down.

Parts of the country are being divided into segments where different cultures are settling.  Where we used to see people that wanted to be part of America; I now see parents trying to kill their children because the children want to be American. 

What has happened to America?  Where have all the decent politicians gone?   Where have the leaders gone that were doing things to keep America whole and prosperous?   Now it seems that most politicians are in office to only try and establish their wealth.  Ask yourself; when was the last time that a politician left office with less money than when they entered office?  There was a time when men took office to serve!  Now that seems like a fairy tale that should begin with the statement “once upon a time----“.

Going on the present course; we will see America divided into many segments of different cultures; you can see divisions within our cities and states.  If we continue on the present course; it is only a matter of time that we will see Civil War within the United States again!
