The floods in Pakistan have completely destroyed their crops in a large portion of their country. This country and the surrounding area has had periodic food shortages. Floods are the last thing they need at this time.
Think about the chaos that is being caused by our world wide economic problems and this only exasperates that problems associated with food. Prices will probably rocket out of reach of many of the poor.
