The government says that the economy is slowly recovering but the job market has not improved that much, however, the medical field needs help. The medical field is one area that is expanding and if Obama care is implemented there is going to be even more workers needed. If you are unemployed or under employed; this is a field that you really need to consider getting into.
If you have access to a computer, can type and follow simple instructions; you need to take the time to research the field of medical transcription. With the proper training, determination and ambition you can enter a field that is fairly lucrative and you can pretty much call you own shots!
Let me a share a true story with you about a young lady that entered the field and became very successful in a short period of time.
Bill and Jody moved into our neighborhood several years ago. They have two daughters, Mandy age 7 and Kelly age 9. They both have blonde hair and they are a real delight to be around.
We had become friends and had gotten fairly close to the family. My wife and I were older but Bill and Jody seemed a lot like our own kids; the girls had even started calling us “grandpa and grandma”.
Bill is a carpenter and had recently come home from a two year stint in Iraq so they were basically just beginning to get back on their feet. Unfortunately the economy went into the tank and Bill was laid off from the construction company where he was working. We live in Arizona and construction came to a screeching halt. Not being one to take the issue lying down; Bill hustled small side jobs and did a pretty good job paying the bills and providing for his family.
One evening about a year after moving into the neighborhood Jody came running to our door shortly after we had our dinner. She was crying and and told us that Bill had been in a car wreck. A drunk had run a red light and T-boned Bill’s truck. Jody had come to our house as soon as she heard about the wreck and asked if the girls could stay at our house while she went to the hospital. She asked me to drive her to the hospital because she was too shaken. Of course I did; I would not have had it any other way.
Bill was in surgery for over six hours. Jody could not stop shaking and walking around the waiting room. I tried to help her but did not know what to say. What can you say other than offer words of encouragement.
Luckily Bill survived the surgery but he was badly injured. He sustained internal injuries, a broken arm, and a broken leg along with a broken back. The doctors said it would be at least six months to a year before Bill would be able to get around and this would involve lot of physical therapy. Unfortunately, the bills kept coming and the other driver’s insurance only covered the minimum required by law and that was not enough to cover all the costs that kept adding up.
Jody was lost in depression for several weeks but she is a spunky, energetic and ambitious and bounced back as she began looking for ways to make money. Luckily she could type and was competent on the computer. She just knew she could find some work she could do over the internet. The problem was finding a program that was real and not a scam!
We offered to watch the girls and Bill if she had to get a job but she insisted on finding something that she could do at home. They both are very proud people and would not consider any charity.
Over the months Bill improved slowly but steadily and was soon up and about. He kept insisting he could go to work but the doctor would not give him a release but that didn’t prevent him from trying to find some work. Unfortunately they did not have a vehicle that he could use if he found any work so he could not work even though he wanted to.
Then one morning I heard a horn honking in our driveway and when I looked out I saw a new red pickup with Bill, Jody and the girls waving at me. I called to my wife and we rushed out to see them.
Jody had been able to find a way to make good money on the internet. She had made enough to manage to finance the payments for a new vehicle. She was so proud of herself that it seemed she was about to burst. Of course, I was proud of her too!
When I asked how she was able to do it she said she had entered the field of medical transcription and had contracts with several doctors. She had set up her own business and was able to do it even while caring for Bill and the girls when they were not in school. She had received enough training over the internet that she was able to enter the field and find some customers. The course that she used provided her with the guidance that she needed to find the market for her training.
Shortly afterwards Bill was able to get back to work and is still hustling odd jobs. Jody is still working at her business and they are doing very well. Makes me proud to know them!
Jody’s story and how she was able to do what she did is one thing that inspired me to recommend getting into this field of business. The field is growing and there appears to be a lot of opportunity for energetic and ambitious people. The interesting thing about this kind of work is that there are no age or gender barriers!
It seems that most businesses are doing more and more outsourcing to reduce the cost of doing business. The medical field and doctors are looking to do the same thing and if they can find competent sources to do their work; the field is begging for good help.
I really recommend that you research this field for your home based business. Jody did and she is extremely successful!
